To many people Avril Lavigne is definitely a “witch”. She is naughty and full of rebellion. And you can see all of her qualities in a normal girl. What’s more, when she is under the spotlight, you will see another Avril Lavigne. She is just ordinary and very kind. Absoutely Avril Lavigne is the top star. People can feel her creative talent from her music.
What do you think about yourself after you release this album?AL: I am very excited. “Goodbye Lullaby” is my fourth solo album. I am very glad that I can come to Japan to promote this new album. I will be back again on May 7 this year and hold my world tour.
You took almost two years to complete this album. But why do you let your fans wait for you for such a long time?AL:I was very disappointed with my record company. They wanted me to return to the past and want me to do my album in their way. But I have my own understanding of music, I do not want to pretend to do something to meet the record company and the music market. I must stick to my own ideas. So in this issue, we can not come to an agreement . But at last I am able to make the album in my way.
Why do you call your new album “Goodbye Lullaby”? Who do you want to say goodbye to?
AL: I choose this name to express my real thought inside of my heart. Actually it represents a growing, showing a change and a new start for life. I want to say farewell to my past and my old state. I do not know what the next album will be. After all, I just this album. And I am very content with the different style showed in the song “Black star”.

In addition, he is still a DJ and a music producer. After we chatted with him, we can confirm through his conversation that this guy has the talent to be a critic. It seems that you can find the answers from Jamie as long as your questions are related to music.
When The xx found, the average age of the members was still under 20. This band is a big surprise that England gives the world in these two years. Their music not only has gentle and moving expressions but also has a lonely atmosphere. It is a highly original band. But perhaps because of the image and visibility, the male and the female leading singer Oliver and Romy get more attention. For many people they represent The xx band. And Jamie xx is just a member behind the band. Our interview also started from this concrete member of this band.
“I produced the whole album. In addition, when we are holding our concerts, I will play the MPC and KAOSS PAD as the band’s rhythm section.” He said with certainty. Then we know that the lonely atmosphere of the band has to greatly owe to Jamie xx’s hard work in the studio. His role in the band is more important than a simple drummer. He acts as the producer of the band at such a oung age and we can know Jamie xx’s professional music literacy through it. Oliver and Romy are verty reliable on him. When the band won the Mercury Music Prize last year (Mercury Award), the two leading singers said publicly that they would give all the prize money to Jamie to build their own studio.

When Emo meets the Beatles

Las Vegas is a world full of adult adventure in the eyes of people. It is a theme park about the dreams of money and fame. If you find carefully, you will find the decadent atmosphere of this luxury. But you will still find that it has similarities with the colorful hippie era. Though the trends are different, hedonistic smoke still spreads in the street. Perhaps this is the media through which Panic At The Disco thinks they can communicate with the Beatles without boundaries and time.
Yesterday they were busy with their own stuff and Emo met The Beatles. Today we are still skeptical but at least we know that Panic At The Disco is not a group of “Emo Kids”.If you are familiar with their usual style and familiar with their Emo label and familiar with those strange scandals about their decadent life, you will not blame the interviewer’s aversion towards them when the interviewer know that he cannot take photos because of the makeup of the members of the band. The interviewer came to the scene to interview them to feel the popularity of the so-called idol but had a bad feeling about what would gonna happen later. However, when the members showed up, the interview saw two local American boys. They just wore simple T-shirts and sneakers. Their wore casual hairstyle and had forearm tattoos. But they didn’t have wax taste and the smell of perfume of famous brands. Their image was totally different from their pictures. Brandon Urie’s personality is different form Spencer Smith’s. And we can know it from their talking speed. The former spoke very fast and was enthusiasitc. His conversation was full of laughters. However, Spencer was very calm and peaceful. He spoke very slowly. Talking to Spencer is just like talking to a normal friend in your daily life.

Hopes but not fears

They are very familiar to Japanese fans. This year the main change Keane experienced is the Jesse Quin officially becomes a member of this band who participated in the recording of “Perfect Symmetry” “Night Train”. They appeared in the form of four people when they were interviewed and they seemed very good.
Having a look at the experiences in these years Keane experienced carefully you will find something constant and something different. On one hand they are trying to making changes. Besides Jesse joins in Tim’s position is more and more important. The thought of the band is becoming more and more active. On the other hand, people who like their music and dislike their music are still holding their views since the period of Post-Britpop. Of course, they must be accustomed to such mixing situation. This journey to Japan is mainly for attending commercial activities and they just hold some little concerts by the way. And they do not intend to surprise the fans,but after this interview, they will understand the enthusiasm of Japanese fans who have been waiting for them for a long time.
How is the new album going? One reality is that you achieved huge success in your last two albums and therefore it will bring you pressure naturally. After that do you ever feel overwhelmed?
TR: (laughs) I think, as far as I am concerned, I feel more pressure in the creating process of our last two albums instead of the moment when we succeeded in our albums. Recording and writing are a very long process. We did have the feeling when we were creating “Under The Iron Sea”. But you can see that we are still energetic and we can still continue making our music. The album “Under the Iron Sea” brings us the greatest pressure. But we still have hope and will stick to the end.
